The CARBB is an automatic big-bale shaving machine engineered to break down highly compressed soil bales into a uniform, loose substrate ready for immediate production use.

The processing unit features a robust horizontal scraping system equipped with steel teeth that work against the travel direction of the big-bale. Controlled entirely via an integrated PLC with a digital function display, the machine uses an inverter-driven internal elevator to accurately calibrate both the bale’s vertical advancement speed and the minimum scraping rate.

Optimized for high-volume commercial production lines, the CARBB functions efficiently as a direct feed system for downline tray fillers or intermediate soil accumulation hoppers. The machine incorporates an optical sensor to automatically regulate soil discharge levels, alongside a secondary sensor paired with an acoustic alarm to alert operators when the bale is running low.

For added operational convenience, any unused portion of a bale can be left stored safely inside the fully enclosed unit, keeping the residual soil sealed at its correct humidity level.
